How to Draw a Picture...

Be brave. Don't be afraid to draw the secret things. No one said art was always a breaze; sometimes it's a hurricane. Even then you must not hesitate or change course. Because if you tell yourself the great lie of bad art – that you are in control – your chance at the truth will be lost.

Religious Laws vs. Social Laws

The judge in my case here in California insists on frequently reminding me that, “there are some of us who feel no one should be allowed to represent themselves”.
This view amazes me, especially coming from a judge. If a man stands accused of behaving contrary to a law agreed upon by the society in which he lives, the courts job is not to compel the man to believe in the rightness or justness of the law but only to compel the man to obey the law regardless of any difference between what he believes and what society in general believes.
In other words, if I believe smoking pot is harmless and should not be against the law, and I am charged with smoking pot, the courts job is not to convince me that smoking pot is wrong! The courts job is only to convince me not to smoke pot! I should be allowed to believe what I want, and even do what I want based on my beliefs, as long as I am willing to accept the consequences for what I do, not for what I believe.
There should be no consequence for what I believe, only for what I do! If the law attempts to persuade a person of what they should believe then it is religious, not social.
And if I am not allowed to express my own reasons for my beliefs and consequent behavior in court, then the court is suppressing what I believe, not what I do.
If a man is not free to express what he believes in court, then there is no freedom of speech! Freedom of speech is fundamentally the freedom of the accused to defend his beliefs. To suppress that freedom is to suppress all freedom. And sadly, the U.S. has been suppressing that freedom more and more. To hear a judge assert that I should have no right to speak for myself in court is a blatant indication of our country's desire to suppress the most fundamental and important form of freedom there is – the freedom to say what I believe and to defend it regardless of consequence!

Nothing Personal

When a man attacks a complete stranger, it is obviously nothing personal. But, if it's not personal then what is it? One man does not attack another for “no reason” as many like to claim. Regardless of how it may seem, violent behavior is never unprecipitated. A man resorts to violence only when he perceives a threat of some sort to his personal interests. So when the target of his violent reaction is a stranger, perhaps the real target is something the stranger represents. Maybe it is personal after all, but just not for that particular person.
For instance, what does a stranger represent to most people? The answer is anonimity. And what does anonimity symbolize but society itself! So a so-called random attack is probably not random at all. It is most likely a very targetted and personal attack against society committed by a man who without doubt perceives the society in which he lives as a threat to his own existence. And how that man came to that perception should be of grave concern to those who would resist his violent behavior. Because more than likely the reasons for his mis-perception are shared by many others, and perhaps attacking the man personally (i.e. as our so-called justice system does so notoriously well) will only further support the dellusion of a threat they all take personally.
This is an example for how society creates what it fears, i.e. “random violence”.

Time Travel is Real

According to Michio Kaku, in the early 1940's a graduate student at Princeton University named Richard Feynman realized that antimater (positrons, which have been established to exist both mathematically and experimentally since the 1920's and were even predicted before that by Einstein's theories, though Einstein himself ignored the prediction as impossible) were in reality ordinary electrons that were moving backward in time.
Feynman's adviser at Princeton, John Wheeler, then grasped an even more profound implication of this time traveling electron: that the entire universe is comprized of a single electron that moves back and forth through time to create googols of itself!
I just read about this theory for the first time a couple of days ago. But I predicted the exact same thing shortly after my arrest in '05 based on an intuitive insight I had that showed me that only such a time traveling entity could explain the existence of the universe. I wrote about this in the blog that my brother was doing for me at the time, an entry titled, „William is a time traveler”. (See 5NRevelations.blogspot.com))

Subliminal Messages

TV programs like America's Most Wanted that persistently berate their criminal prey with words like, „scumbag”, „sicko”, „pervert”, „monster”, and on, are doing more to solicit criminal behavior than they do to stop it; a lot more.
Of course, many people recognize that these types of programs are produced as purely entertainment, not the „social service” they pretend. So they perceive little harm done. But the criminals who are hunted and attacked by these programs watch too, and they receive the intended message loud and clear, „We're gonna get you!”
But the criminals who watch this show also receive even more powerful subliminal message as well.
A subliminal message is one that is received unconsciously. In this case it happens via unconscious association with the intended targets of the insults and threts. When a man who is experiencing thoughts of sex with a child, even though he has not yet contemplated actually acting on those thoughts, sees a „child predator creepo monster” being persecuted on one of these programs he will unconsciously associate with the persecuted „child molester”, and the insueing insults become messages to the otherwise yet innocent man, that tell him he is not innocent, that he is „a monster who cannot control his impulses to rape and molest” etc. etc.
Is it any surprise then when he begins believing these messages, that enter his mind unfiltered and uncensored? His fantasies become more frequent and obsessive, because that's what „perverts” do. Soon he begins to feel a compulsion rising from somewhere deep in his unconscious mind that compels him to act out his fantasies, because that's what „monsters” do.
I make these observations as a man who has managed to overcome my own subconscious programming, and now I hope that I can somehow expose these messages that we so unwittingly pour into the vulnerable minds of men. And this problem is made far worse by all the media and laws and polititions who send the same messages out. In this way, as a society, we are literally creating the very monsters and perverts we fear, and love to hate.

One God

I will express now a truth that I have been dancing around with my words for some time but have been afraid to express directly because of the harshness of its reality, not to mention the inevitable critisism that I am using this truth as a shield or to shift responsibility for what I have done off of my shoulders. But this truth does not shift responsibility, (no truth can ever do that, only lies can, or truths that are twisted by being used as lies). This truth not only affirms my responsibility, but when it is properly embraced, as I embraced it the day I brought that little girl home and surrendered myself to the police, then it will compel a person to take action at once, at any cost, to honor this Truth.
The truth is simply this: I was molded into the person I am today (and who I was before my arrest in 2005) by the world in which I live. And that world is comprized primarily of the society to which I belong. I am by no means or degree in any way independent of this world, or my society. In other words, it is utterly impossible for me to make any choice or to act upon any choice as an individual. There are no individuals! There is only the One! The One World, the One Universe, the One God!
But this does not mean that we should all try to stop behaving like individuals. In fact, the more we try to not be an individual the more individual we seem to become. The solution is to be who we are and simply recognize that we are dependent upon our universe for ever thought, and every choice we make.
This does not need to be a conscious event. I did not consciously think, „I am One with the Universe” when I decided to bring Shasta home and surrender. But I realized this to be true non-the-less. It was this unconscious realization that compelled me to behave in a manner that was in harmony, or in balance, with my truest nature which is a direct reflection of the nature of the world, the universe, and the society that formed me.
I told my attorneys shortly after my arrest in 2005 that, „most criminals blame society for what they have done, but I credit society for ultimately causing me to realize who I am, and for bringing that child home.” (parapharsed from memory)
I once defined love as the state that exist when another person's happiness and well being are imperative to your own. I did not realize then that this was another expression of the realization of Oneness.
When another person's happiness and well being are imperative to your own it is because you realize deep down (i.e. Unconsciously) that the other person is you. You „love thy neighbour as thyself”, and in doing so you experience the Oneness that is often called „God”.

Truth's Lair

It is the unconscious realms that terrify us; because that's where the truth lives.

Zen Me

I find in reading about Zen meditation and practice that a remarkable degree of my personal understanding of my own existence corresponds very suspiciously to that of the Zen masters.
I wonder if this is because of some rare and intrinsic gift for insight, or if many years ago when I read about Zen I was so impressed that I managed to incorporate the entire Zen philosophy unconsciously into my own way of thinking. I do not have any conscious recollection of ever having studied and understanding Zen teachings enough to consider myself even a pupil of the discipline. I did once read about Zen Buddhism, but I have also read with a similar degree of interest many other philosophical viewpoints.
I sometimes wonder if I made myself too open and suggestible to the hollywood version of Buddhism especially as portrayed in the classic series, „Kung-Fu”.

Suffering is Life

I realize how the media and prosecutors portray people like me as angry, selfish, spiteful, uncaring and even incapable of any meaningful human emotions such as compassion or love. It is ironic that up until the moment that I finally admitted to myself that there was something very seriously wrong with me I believed the same things about the police and society in general. I honestly thought that most other people were pigs, and as such they were less aware, less emotional, and yes, less human than me.
To me society and its children annonymously were fair game since they could not suffer the way I suffered. And I earned the right to punish them because of how they so callously made me suffer without just cause.
I realize now, of course, that every living thing suffers just as I do. In fact, I have come to understand that to live is to suffer.
It is not that we must suffer in order to live. Suffering is not a cause, nor is it a necessity of life. Suffering and living are one and the same. The more conscious we are, the more alive we are, and the more suffering we gratefully experience.
It is this suffering, life itself, that we run from in fear by hurting other people, seeking what we call justice, and condemning others for our own suffering. By doing so we become less conscious, we „move away from the light” of life (consciousness) and deny the truth of our being. We may then think we suffer less, but we also live less.

Credence of Deception

A person who has embraced the truth has no reason to fear deception. In fact, all one needs to do is honestly seek the truth and for them deception will have no power. Because the truth will always reveal itself to those who trust it and do not give deception credence by fearing they can be deceived.
Only a person who fears deception can be deceived. To illustrate this, consider a three year old child who is told Santa Claus is real.
Is the child deceived?
No! Only the person telling the child that Santa is real is deceived because only that person has knowledge of the contradiction and deception requires contradiction or it is not deception.
When we must „choose sides” we are being deceived, no matter what side we choose. An honest person can never be forced to choose sides, since they cannot see „sides” (i. e. contradictions) to anything. It may appear that they choose sides, but only to a dishonest person.
