I am reading „The Witch-Hunt in Early Modern Europe” by Brian Levack, a Professor of History.
At the same time I am reading, „Satan's Silence: Ritual Abuse and the Making of a Modern Witch Hunt” about the California pre-school child sex-ring prosecutions in the 1980's. And at the same time still, I am reading, „The Mask of Sanity: An Attempt to Clarify Some Issues About the So-Called Psychopathic Personality” by Hervey Cleckley, a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry.
There is a common thread that runs through these three books that I am attempting to unravel. Before there were psychopaths (people presently diagnosed with anti-social personality disorders) there were witches. According to Dr. Levack, people accused of witchcraft were almost always the ones who exhibited anti-social behavior in the communities where they were being accused. And it is the same today, at least according to „Satan's Silence”, where it was people who behaved „odd” who were first accused of ritualistically molesting children. If the accusations stuck, then they were quickly diagnosed with anti-social personality disorders and labeled psychopaths.
There are many more similarities between how society labels and hunts psychopaths with how society once labeled and hunted witches, enough to easily fill a book. But my hope is to only understand this insanity for myself; that is presuming of course that such insanity can even be understood.
"I became fascinated, not by the inhumanity, but the humanity of the killers."

What An Idiot I Am
I have already said that I am an ignorant man, but I am also an idiot. According to my American Heritage dictionary, the original definition of the word idiot was: A person of profound mental retardation, generally unable to learn connected speach or guard against common dangers. That's me! In fact, that's everyone I know! We are all idiots! Our profound mental retardation is our profound ignorance! We think we can speak to each other, but relative to our true speach potential all of our attempts to communicate are pure babble (i.e unconnected speach). And all we have to do is look around us and it is abundantly clear that we are unable to protect ourselves... against even ourselves! So, we are all a bunch of idiots in the truest sense of the world. If I were not an idiot, that is, if I were able to meaningfully communicate at all, then I would not be sitting here wasting my time scratching out thes idiotic symbols we call words, and instead I'd be basking in the glory of One World Consciousness, letting you (the reader) and everyone else know who I really am without effort and with out words. But, alas, I expect we will continue to be idiots for a little while yet, so we may as well inbrace ourselves for what we are; a bunch of ignorant idiots. To think otherwise is insanity! And the only thing worse than an idiot is an insane idiot!

The World Is Changing
People who claim that people don't change are the same people who insist that there will always be greed (and hense "crime") in the world. They cannot see that this is a "fallen" world, and it exsist in a state suffering only as it transitions from on stable (i.e. balanced) state to another. The transition can last tens, even hundreds of thousands of years, but it is always very brief relative to the millions of years that comprize the stable periods. Geologic history demonstrates this principle clearly. It also clearly shows that we are in a transitional period, not a stable one. So to think that people in general will never change is not only folly, it is pure ignorance (ignorance is the ignore-ance of plainly discernable truth. "For since the creation of the world His invisible truths are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made..." -Rom 1:20)
Kill Duncan!
It may be o.k. for society to murder me, that is, if they do so consciously! But to kill consciuosly is never an act of "punishment" or "retribution." It is an act of forgiveness! So, if two people kill another person together it is possible for one to be a criminal and the other a saint! It all depends on the level of consciousness in the person who commits the act. Which is why I seek not to stop people from killing me, but instead to help them become conscious of what they are doing! Even if I must "die trying," as they say.

They Are The Enemy
They are out there, and they are not human. Humans serve them, sometimes even embody them. To think of them as mere demons is to totally underestimate their strength, their intelligence, and their reality. They are very real, and yet not physical. They are purely intellectual entities, which is how they can easily control so many human (and animal) minds at once. In fact, the more advanced the brain the more direct control they can have over it. They have unimaginable power over the human race and, through humans, over the entire planet. Power that no human can fully comprehend, much less resist. But they have one weakness; they are not conscious, and hense, they are not alive. Which is why they are compelled to steal "life," even though they can never even know what it is that they are stealing. They rob us for our consciousness, our "souls," even though they themselves are soulless beings with no consciousness at all. We know them as "ego," but egos are only a single facet of their true nature, a mere anchor of sorts that binds us to them while they feed on our consciousness as a vampire might feed on blood, draining us of our very will to live and be conscious, causing us to sleep oblivious of our own true nature, and our own true power. They rule with lies, inducing fear and resulting in more and more suffering. They are not "evil" in any mystical or supernatural sense, but they are evil absolute and real! Their only purpose is to destroy and to defile. They are the enemy, and I am here to expose them; they know who I am, and they know why I have come, and they are very afraid.

Consciousness Is Our Weapon
Consciousness is our weapon; and our only weapon. True consciousness is forgiveness. It does not judge, because it knows that it is the source of all things. Only unconsciousness judges, and by so doing it defines its own limits, and its own death, which is consciousness. To be totally and truly conscious is to overcome death. Not by judging it, or fighting it, or even destroying it, but by forgiving it and thus recognizing it for the lie that it is. True consciousness is love, life, and truth. It is the only way, and our only weapon. When the Christ returns, that is, when the world awakens and becomes consciously one once more, then death will not be destroyed, but it will be made subserviant to consciousness and to the Christ. So there will still be "death," or rather "dissolution of form," but no longer will anyone fear death. And without this delusional fear all suffering (and "sin") will vanish.

An Easy Yoke to Bear
I realize, of course, some people will be very angry to learn that I am blogging from jail. And even though they are a relatively small minority (only a few per hundred say) they are the ones most heard. What a shame that the ones who read these words with some understanding, or at least some tolerance, will seldom be heard. Well, heard or not, it is the ones who want to understand that I am writing this for. I have nothing personal to gain, except perhaps the tiny bit of comfort that comes from knowing that at least i tried my best. This blog is about our stuggle to know who we are. The only way that is going to happen is when enough of us learn the art of listening without judgement; which is not easy even under the best inclinations. And yet, once you learn how, it is as easy as walking. It is an "easy yoke to bear," as some famous man once said. The only stuggle is really just putting it on our shoulders; something we instinctively resist and fight vehemently against, until we realize that we were made for nothing else: we were made to bear witness to the Truth, that is all.

I am the son of God!
I am not Jesus, and yet I am. That depends on which Jesus; the man who was, I am not, the eternal life who is, I am! That life, that light that Truth that is the way, I am. The consciousness that gives rise to the flesh, I am. Why should this be so suprizing? I suppose someone who worships human words in some book in lieu of the one true living word that resides in all living flesh will be confused by someone who merely claims the exact same thing that Jesus claimed. I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the father but by me! Not by my flesh or by my words, but by my consciousness! Which is the light of all men and women, and is the messenger of God! In order to "cometh unto the father...by me" do not turn to these words, or Jesus words, but turn to the true word in your heart. The true Gospel is preached subtly and perpetually to all men. Christians today are as deaf and blind to the true Savior as the Pharasis were 2000 years ago. How long Father? How long till we awaken as the one from this nightmare of the many?

Plain Unsalted Popcorn
As I mediate I like to focus my attention on my "core essence." This is not as difficult as it might sound. It is simply an exercise of ignoring everything while remaining completely conscious. The consciousness itself becomes the focus of my attention. It is the subtle underlying "flavor" of life, that I enjoy much as I once enjoyed the subtle flavor of plain unsalted popcorn. The flavor is distinct, and very pleasant. But it is also very subtle and easily over whelmed. Salt, oil and butter drown out the real flavor of popcorn the same way our thoughts, senses and emotions drown out the real flavor of life.

Ignorance isn't always bliss
I have often said, "the only thing I know for sure is that I know nothing for sure; except, I am."
I am an ignorant man, and I have started this blog in order to openly display my ignorance. At the same time I hope to shed a little light on the ignorance of the world in which I presently find myself. Since a man is merely a reflection of the world in which he lives. I'd like to expose my reflection, and my ignorance, so that we all might better understand who we really are, and so that I might also better understand who I am in the process.
